Stop! Step away from the food. Eating is a favorite pass time. We eat because we're happy, sad and everything in between. We eat at gatherings, holidays and every other celebration known to man, or woman. We eat because we are hungry, and don't stop when we are full. We eat because we are bored, or just because it's there. We love to eat, we have to eat, we should eat, but we should not eat too much. When we eat too much it can ruin our chances of ever eating again.
Stop eating when you are satisfied but not full. Start with small portions on your plate. Studies show we usually eat everything on our plate, so start with less.
