Delicious Diary Entry
"A healthy dose of motivation with a twist"
My name is Ms. Delicious Diary and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it as you will see as you read their diary entries each week. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.
Dear Diary: My Book Club Chat!
Super Size-It Sally:
Page 15 reads - I was stuck in a rut, I felt unmotivated and couldn't seem to get going. I guess I needed a good shake to snap me out of it. I wasn't happy with my weight and I wanted to do something about it, but what? I was tired of trying all the weight loss gimmicks out there, none of them seem to work for very long. What I wanted was the truth in how to lose this weight and keep it off. And, as it turns out it was right under my nose, staring me straight in the face, just waiting for me to give it a try. It wasn't rocket science, just a simple equation. But when I read about it, it was something I knew all along. I thought it could not be that simple. The advice in this book was - only eat what you are willingly to burn off during the day, if you don't burn it off you will go to bed with it and wake up bigger the next morning......
Page 16 reads - When Tina finally got out of her rut, she went full steam ahead, there was no stopping her. It took her a while to believe she could have a better life, that she deserved a better life, but now she says, why not me? She no longer fills her body with bad food dressed up to taste delicious. She no longer sits on the couch like she can't move even if she wanted to. She no longer watches everyone else's life while hers is passing her by. She no longer listens to her friends complain about their weight while eating a whole pizza in one sitting. She now realizes if you want something different, you absolutely have to do something different.....
Lifestyle change of the week!
If you find yourself stuck in a rut, go out and shake things up a little. Do something different that you have never done before and may even be afraid to do. That just might start you on the road to seeing things differently, and get you out of your comfort zone and your rut.
