                                   "A healthy dose of motivation with a twist"
                                          



My name is Ms. Delicious Diary and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it as you will see as you read their diary entries each week. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.
                                         

Dear Diary: New Experiment!

Super Size-It Sally:

Our coaching session went well today. No drama to report, things have settled down, at least for now. Our coach gave all of us a new experiment to try for two weeks. To help us tackle our cravings we are going to record how long we can hold out before giving in to the craving, write down the time. Then the next time we have a craving, we are suppose to try and beat the last recorded time. The hope is that we become better and better at resisting our cravings. It almost becomes a game, and makes it fun and a challenge all at the same time.

Low-Calorie Lucy:

We loved this new experiment because we all have cravings that we would like to get under control. I use to give in as soon as a craving hit, I would not even try to resist it. I almost felt like it was out of my control, and there was nothing I could do about it. I am a little better now but I still need some help in this area. If I can get my cravings for salty chips under control I could lose a lot more weight. That is my favorite snack food, I keep a bag in my car in case a craving hits while I'm driving. I know that's not a good thing, and I hope this experiment will help me.

Trying new things helps you find out what works for you and what doesn't. There is power in what you find out, if it helps you keep doing it, if not at least you now know what doesn't work for you. Keep Trying!
