Delicious Diary Entry - Please Don't Label Me!

                                                   Delicious Diary Entry
"A healthy dose of motivation with a twist"

My name is Ms. Delicious Diary, and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.

Dear Diary: Please Don't Label Me!

Super Size-It Sally:

At our last coaching  session we were all given some homework to do. We had to read the labels on everything we ate or drink for the next week. This was a eye opener for most of us and especially for Mary-Mac & Cheese. She couldn't believe the long list of ingredients in her favorite food - Mac & Cheese of course. Many of the words she couldn't even pronounce. But you can believe it won't stop her from eating her favorite comfort food. She did say she might have to start making it herself from scratch so she knows what's in it.

Low-Calorie Lucy:

Crockpot-Kate reads labels like she is reading a good book. She knows everything she puts in her body because she cooks most of it herself. She usually starts with fresh healthy ingredients. In the past she ate whatever she wanted without giving it a second thought, until she started gaining lots of weight and the doctor labeled her obese. That was a bad day for her and she had not been the same since. She knew she had to make some changes fast. No more putting if off for another day, it was now or never. She cleaned up her eating habits and to her surprise the weight starting coming off. She says it was her trusty Crockpot that made it easier for her to cook healthy. She still uses it every week years later.

Lifestyle change of the week!
When reading labels, remember the information is per serving not per box. Pay special attention to sugar, fat and sodium. If you have two servings of that product double all the numbers listed.
