Motivation Series - The Battle of The Bulge!

Do you ever feel like you are in a war zone when it comes to food? Always fighting temptations to eat the wrong food, cooked the wrong way, and the wrong portion size.  Do you feel like you are fighting a losing battle? Does it really have to be this hard? No, it doesn't. You can improve your chances for success by knowing the tricks of the trade. Here are just a few proven tricks that work every time.

  • Have a filler food - this is a low-calorie food that you can eat when you need a snack, or after eating dinner with small portions, finish filling up by eating your low calorie filler food. The end result is the same, you will be full!

  • Don't drink your calories - save your calories for food, and drink water or hot tea instead of sugary drinks.

  • Order a to-go box - when you order your meal, order a to-go box. When you get your meal put half in the box before you start eating.

Motivating Tip
Eating half the food puts you ahead of the game when it comes to the battle of the bulge. Those are calories you don't have to burn because you didn't eat them. Most of us eat more calories than we can ever burn in a day. Less is more.
