My name is Ms. Delicious Diary and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it as you will see as you read their diary entries each week. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.

Page 9 reads - Here comes the rain, I love it when it rains because I can shut my doors, windows, shades and anything else that will close and just go into my own world of food and private thoughts that most people would be surprised I had. It's funny how things can look so perfect on the outside, but inside, well that is a whole different ball game. I know my life looks perfect, and I might look and act so happy most of the time, but on the inside it's chaos, self doubt and feelings of just not being quite good enough. That's when food becomes my best friend, it comforts me and always makes me feel better, until it's gone......
Page 10 reads - Food was always my first choice for comfort, until I realized it was not comforting me at all. Every time I was in need of comfort I reached for my favorite food and it worked, for all of two minutes, then the comfort was gone and I was left feeling guilty and miserable. I felt worse after eating comfort food. I decided I would find something else to comfort me that didn't leave me feeling uncomfortable afterwards. Now when I'm in need of some comfort instead of reaching for that bag of chips, I reach for my shoes and go for a walk, or turn on the music and dance like no one is watching. It works every time........
Lifestyle change of the week!
Food is not made to fill every hole in your soul. The truth is, it can't even if it wanted to. If you try and use it for that, it won't work because it's not really the answer. But, food can give you the fuel you need to figure out what will.
