My name is Ms. Delicious Diary and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it as you will see as you read their diary entries each week. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.
Dear Diary: Just Say No!
Super Size-It Sally:
Our coaching session was all about just saying no! No to the wrong food that packs on the pounds. Fast-Food Fannie loves her fast-food and she can't say no, it's just too hard for her to do. She says YES to all her favorite restaurants and the food that makes her happy. Last week she said yes to pizza, burgers, fries and milkshakes. This week she said she will try to do better, maybe she won't have the milkshakes.
I have never liked the word No, it just makes me want it that much more. I prefer to say, not today instead of no. That seems to work better for me because it just means I may have it later, or maybe not. I have found that I pass on fast-food and junk food more and more. The less I eat it, the less I even want it. And when I get on the scale I weigh less, it's funny how that works out.
Lifestyle change of the week!
Sometimes you just have to say no to yourself and yes to your health. It might be hard at first, but it gets easier the more you do it. It's not as hard as it seems because every time you say no to bad food, it's a chance to say yes to delicious healthy food. Now what's hard about that?
