My name is Ms. Delicious Diary and my job is to see how my clients are really doing when it comes to their weight loss journey. My favorite clients are Super Size-It Sally and Low-Calorie Lucy, along with their close knit group of friends. They all have their own way of dealing with their issues, and the funniest nicknames to prove it as you will see as you read their diary entries each week. I hold the key to the diary in this special little green bag. My fingers are itching to unlock the diary and see their weight loss or gain, and check their delicious food entries.
Dear Diary: I'm Starving!
Super Size-It Sally:
I don't know what came over me today, I was so hungry and could not stop eating. The more I ate the more I wanted to eat, nothing was safe around me. I think I let myself get too hungry by skipping breakfast and lunch. I was so busy I forgot to eat, but I made up for it the rest of the day. I know I ate at least five thousand calories in less than thirty minutes. I ate way too fast and way too much. From now on I will make sure I eat breakfast and lunch so I don't end up eating all three at once.
Someone once said if you want to lose weight you have to eat. That didn't make any sense to me. But it turns out you should eat small meals often to help prevent over eating later. Now I see why my best friend has kept a healthy weight her entire adult life, she always eats every three hours, small meals and snacks. She doesn't let herself get so hungry she over eats. A light bulb went off, now I get it, eat more to weigh less.
Lifestyle change of the week!
Don't try to save calories by waiting half the day to eat. You will end up starving yourself and over eating later. Eat small and often, it works every time.
