1. Do as I say not as I do doesn't work for a weight loss coach. You have to lead by example.
2. Diets stop working the minute you stop working them. That's why they don't work.
3. Scale back on your eating to love the number on the scale. Weigh yourself once a week and watch the numbers go down.
4. The scale is usually not broke even when we feel like breaking it. Make it your best friend that always tells you the truth.
5. Eating the right kind of food in the right amount, will keep you on target. Even too much healthy food is bad.

Eating healthy and regular exercise is the best diet of all. Anything else is a short term fix for a long term problem.
