Eating out is always fun to do, it means you don't have to cook but you still get to eat. It also means you will eat more calories, fat and sodium. One way to limit how often you eat out is to skip it half the time. If you ate out today skip it tomorrow. If you ate out this week skip it next week. If you had appetizers the last time skip it this time. If you ate the entire meal this time, take half home in a box next time. If you treated yourself today, skip the treats tomorrow. This is what we call saying no to yourself half the time to feel good about yourself all the time.
Get in the habit of making half of all your choices healthy to be a whole lot healthier at the end of the day. It is very empowering to take control of your choices and making at least half of them healthy looks really good on the scale. You get to see what your choices are doing to you and you will like what you see!
