"A healthy dose of motivation with a twist"
I have my strategy down to a science. I have been doing it so long it is now a habit for me and easy as pie! My strategy is to eat mostly healthy during the week, then on the weekend eat what ever I want. A interesting thing happens when you spend most of the week eating healthy. When the weekend is finally here and you can pig out if you want to, you don't. Why? Because the less you eat junk food, the less you want junk food. I still eat what I want but I find I just don't want as much as I use to. My taste buds have changed as a result of eating healthier. You might say I have a more elevated palate now, so instead of craving fake food I crave the real deal and that's good for my body and my weight. That's my strategy and I'm sticking to it!
To find your perfect strategy try several different ways of eating healthy until you find the one that works for you. There are a lot of ways to do the same thing. What works for one person may not work for another but that is no reason to give up, keep trying. You have what it takes to figure it out.
